Memorandum of Understanding between MUMS and University of Herat, Afghanistan.  
Preparing a draft of a Memorandum of Understanding between MUMS and UPM, Malaysia  
Databank of overseas Iranian physicians.  
Inviting Dr. Mohammad Ali Keshtgar, the professor of cancer surgery at UCL (University College of London) for a lecture and a workshop on Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy in Breast Cancer. This two-day workshop was organized by Mashhad University Cancer Research Center.


Meeting with Dr. Marjaneh Fouladi, the faculty member of School of Nursing of Texas University (UTEP). Two research proposals and a workshop on quantitative researches are being followed by Mashhad School of Nursing and Midwifery.
To invite Dr. Gorji, the professor at the University of Muenster, Germany in order to make a contract with the said university. He has held a workshop in the field of neuroscience during his three travels to Iran.
To communicate with Dr. Ali Meigouni, the professor of Kentucky University of America. The Research Center for Medical Physics is continuing the cooperative plans with him.
To invite Dr. Manzar Ashtari, PhD in medical engineering of Albert Einstein School to give a lecture on the performance of FMRI in studying mental disorders in patients with schizophrenia.
To hold a two-day workshop on principles of nanotechnology in cancers by Dr. Gholam Abbas Mansouri, the professor of Basic and Chemical Engineering of Chicago Illinois University.
Submitting documents to the MOH for Toxicology WHO Collaborating Center.

Projects in progress by URIAS:


♦ To establish International Relations Committee of MUMS in order to come up with an international relations road map for the University;

To extend collaborations with WHO;

To encourage faculty members to apply for sabbatical leaves;

To organize training courses on international relations for the experts of the office;

To improve encouraging measures for participation of faculty members in national congresses;

To complete a data bank of health-related Universities and international organizations;
